Our location in Tălmaciu (German Talmesch) – a small Romanian town in the Sibiu district in Transylvania – is located 18 kilometers south of the capital city of Sibiu (Hermannstadt) on the busy national road DN 7 (European road 81), the most important road connection between central and southern Transylvania with the south of Romania.
There is also a CFR railway station in Tălmaciu. Sibiu Airport [Source: Wikipedia] The nearby capital, Sibiu, has an international airport (Aeroportul Internațional Sibiu), from which direct flights to numerous European cities are offered. Currently these are Munich, Dortmund, London, Madrid, Milan, Memmingen, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Vienna. Basel, Brussels, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Paris have recently been added. Sibiu is connected to the international trunk road network via the European roads E68 (from Szeged / Hungary to Brașov / Romania) and E81 (from Uzhhorod / Ukraine to Constanța / Romania). Both routes share a route in the urban area and separate south of the center in the direction of Brașov (Kronstadt) and Wallachia.
In addition, the national road 14 leads Mediaș and on to Sighișoara.
